2015 K9 Keg Pull

Sunday's K9 Keg Pull at Evans Brothers, the finale to Sandpoint's Winter Carnival, was once again an incredible community event for all ages. I love how our town supports these type of fun events, especially when there is a good cause involved. The Keg Pull portion, which Eichardt's Pub has been putting on for years, raises money for the Panhandle Animal Shelter. Dogs of all sizes race along a snow path pulling kegs, or beer cans (depending on the dog's size). It is a hilarious, one of a kind event!

This was also the fifth year of our Family Fun Day and Neighborhood Coffee Tasting. This year's activities (crafts and face painting) raised money for Sandpoint Waldorf School's 8th grade class.  Our good friend Arthur Goldblum and his jazz band "Bright Moments" added the final touch to a wonderful Sunday morning.

We appreciate the hundreds of people that came out with their kids and dogs to enjoy good times with us!
