In 2018, Kenya Cooperative Coffee Exporters (KCCE) invested a great deal in educating Gatunyu Kigio farmer members and staff about proper farming and picking techniques. The full-time staff at the Gakurari Factory washing station assure consistency in processing & drying. This extra dedication, attention and education could very well be the reason that Gakurari’s coffees were so extraordinary in 2019. Gakurari coffees are some of the best coming out of Kenya.

This micro-lot is robust, fruity, creamy and delicious. It is beautiful on espresso, pourover, or whatever your favorite extraction method is.
